Why Run a Privacy Audit?

Most people don't know what they're leaking. A privacy audit makes the invisible visible.

Your WHOIS is Probably Exposed

85% of .com domains expose the registrant's real name, address, and phone number in public WHOIS records. The audit checks your WHOIS and links you to privacy-respecting registrars if exposed.

Trackers Follow Your Visitors

Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and other trackers create detailed profiles of your website visitors. The audit identifies every tracker and recommends privacy-respecting alternatives.

Email Spoofing Is Easy

Without SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records, anyone can send emails pretending to be your domain. The audit checks all three records and tells you exactly what to fix.

Risk Depends on Your Situation

A freelancer and a domestic violence survivor have different threat models. The audit's questionnaire assesses your specific situation and tailors recommendations.

The average business owner has 4-6 findings on their first audit. Most are fixable in under an hour.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the privacy audit check?
The audit runs 6 checks: (1) website scan for trackers, cookies, fingerprinting, and security headers, (2) email security — SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configuration, (3) WHOIS exposure — whether your name, address, or phone is in domain registration records, (4) browser fingerprint — how trackable and unique your browser is, (5) personalized threat model based on your situation and concerns, and (6) an AI-generated executive summary with prioritized fix actions.
Is the privacy audit free?
Yes — the full 6-point audit is completely free during our beta period. No account or credit card required. We'll introduce pricing ($29 per audit) after the beta.
Do you store my data?
Audit results are stored for 72 hours so you can access your report, then permanently deleted. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising. Browser exposure data is collected client-side and never leaves your browser except during the audit. Read our full privacy policy at /privacy.
What happens after I get my results?
Every finding in your audit has a 'Fix This' button that links directly to a remediation action — whether that's our WHOIS checker, email security tool, data removal service, LLC formation, or privacy tool recommendations. You can also save the report as a PDF or talk to our AI privacy mentor about your results.
How is this different from other privacy scanners?
Most privacy scanners check one thing — trackers, or headers, or WHOIS. Our audit combines 5 different checks into a single assessment, adds a personalized threat model questionnaire, and generates an AI-powered executive summary. Most importantly, every finding has a one-click 'Fix This' action. We don't just diagnose — we prescribe.
Do I need to give you access to my website?
No. We only scan publicly available information: your website's HTTP headers, scripts, and trackers (like any visitor would see), your domain's DNS records for email security, and WHOIS registration data. No login, credentials, or server access required.
Can I audit someone else's website?
Yes. The audit scans publicly available information, so you can check any website. This is useful for evaluating the privacy practices of services you use, partners you work with, or competitors in your market.
What privacy grade is normal?
Most websites score C or D on their first audit. An F indicates critical issues like exposed personal data in WHOIS or no HTTPS. A or B requires good security headers, email authentication, no invasive trackers, and protected domain registration. The average business owner has 4-6 findings on their first audit.
